Welcome to Full Range Photography. I am an independent photographer, based in Houston, Texas, available for portrait and casual/action photography in the Houston and surrounding area.
I enjoy the technical and artistic challenge of all photography but get the most satisfaction from scenic landscapes and wildlife photography. My wife Maria and I are able to travel once or twice a year to various places in North America where she tolerates me tripping through forests, streams and mountains in pursuit of the perfect shot. I'm blessed that Maria supports this photo passion, enduring very early mornings, late evenings, and a ton of driving and hiking.
My cameras are Canon 1D Mk III, 1Ds Mark III, and 7D with 16-35, 24-105, and 70-200, and 100-400 Canon L series zoom lenses and a Sigma 180mm macro lens. I use B+W & Heliopan polarizers, Singh-Ray 4x6 graduated neutral density filters, and a Manfrotto 055MF3 mag fiber tripod with 468MGRC2 hydrostatic and 322RC2 grip ball heads. I edit using Photoshop CS4 supported by Topaz plug-ins, and use Photomatix Pro 3 for HDR work.
God has blessed me to be able to enjoy His creation. Its a joy to try capture a piece of the color and grandeur He puts in front of my lens.
